Global objective The overall objective of this assignment is to provide technical assistance to the PAO in the implementation of all its current operations under the SAAP I, SAAP II and Support to Human Rights and Good Governance in Jordan programmes and ensure fulfilment of its role. Specific objectives The specific objective is to provide technical assistance to the PAO in the following areas: · Build the capacity of PAO in its current operations ensuring coherence with EU procedures, with particular focus on Annual Work Plans (AWPs). · Advise in the procurement and contractual management according to EU procedures and transfer of know-how to the various units of the PAO · Advise in the implementation of all ongoing projects under the AWPs, with particular focus on the financial aspects · Build the capacity of the Financial Unit in relation to proper financial and budgetary planning Build the capacity of EU Affairs Officers in the use of the TAIEX instrument |
