The global objective of this mission is to develop a strategy, which will improve the transparency and client satisfaction of the land records system, contribute to greater security of land rights, redistribution of Khas (government) land to the landless poor, and reduction in land-related violence and litigation.
The specific objective of this mission is to formulate an EC-funded action in accordance with EC project cycle management guidelines, which will modernise and computerise the land record management in a systematic and incremental manner, building on the existing body of experience.
